Kameron Raburn was born in Ennis, Texas, and is a proud 6th-generation Ellis County resident. He was born with craniosynostosis, which prevents the brain from growing properly, and underwent multiple cranial reconstructions as a child. Growing up, he was raised by his grandparents, learning the values of resilience, hard work, and perseverance at an early age, which continue to guide his life today. While attending the Cowboy Church of Ellis County, he was baptized in Lake Waxahachie and instilled with a strong faith, a sense of family, and a commitment to service.
Kameron is a graduate of Waxahachie Global High School, where he excelled academically and concurrently attended Navarro College, earning an Associate of Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) before graduating high school. He was also a recipient of the prestigious M.E. Singleton Scholarship, which paved his path into the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. While working his way through college, Kameron was employed at Midway Regional Airport in Midlothian, Texas, with Big-Q-Aviation, serving as a ground operations coordinator and logging flight hours in single-engine aircraft and gliders. Today, he is a Texas-licensed professional engineer in the transportation and infrastructure industry. |
